My skin care regime!

Hey guys!
I thought today I would show you my skin care regime, I've recently changed it and I'm so happy with the results so far and thought I'd share with you what I use.

But first I'll let you know I have combination-oily skin and these products work for me probably because of this reason and if you're the same and are quite spot prone I recommend you give this ago.

So I try and keep my regime quite affordable, at the end of the day I'm a student with a part-time job so my income isn't amazing. Although all the products I use do state they are cruelty free and I'll also offer some alternatives which are great and more affordable than what I use.

So the products I use daily are:

  • St Ives Blemish Fighting Apricot Scrub- £3.99 from most retailers but I try and get it on offer when I can.
  • Anne French Deep Cleansing Milk-£3.99 from Superdrug.
  • The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil-£7.00.
However Superdrug do a product which works just as good for £3.29 (this is their Blended Tea Tree oil)
  • The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion- £3.00.
  • The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion-£9.00.
Superdrug also have a Tea Tree Moisturising Face Cream which is £3.29. I would also recommend this just as much as the other two put together.
Also, if The Body Shop products are something you would like to try I would recommend getting a Love Your Body card as it saves you 20% each time as a student the card is free or it's £5. You can read about it on their website for more info. Also I've never actually paid the cost of the moisturisers or oils as I've bought them on sale days which saves you so much money! Highly recommend!

First thing in a morning when I've gotten out of bed I wash my face with warm-hot water to open my pores. I dry my face and then use some of the Anne French Cleansing milk by applying it to a cotton pad and then applying it to my face using a rotating kind of method.
I allow for it to sink in before applying The Body Shop tea tree skin clearing lotion.
I will then allow that to sink in and do my usual morning routine of getting ready for the day.

In the evenings, I usually have a shower or bath and I use the St Ives Blemish fighting scrub. I again use a sort of rotating in circles method to apply this.
I will leave it on my face for a minute and then wash it off.
Once out of the shower/bath I will dry my face and use the Anne French Cleansing Milk.
Every other day or when I need it, I use The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil and I just apply it to areas which have red or painful spots and I allow it to sink it.
I will then finish my routine each day by using The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion.

So that's it guys that's my skin care regime at the moment. I has really improved my skin mainly how glowing I am but also has reduces the size and redness of blemishes that I am often prone to.

I hope you enjoyed reading, if you use any of the products, let me know your opinion in the comments and I hope you have a lovely week until next weekend/Monday :)

A bit of an update so far.

Hey guys!
These last 2 weeks have been interesting, like many of you, I had to crush all my remaining festive feelings and go back to college, boo hoo I know :(.

However, with the tragedy of knowing Christmas won't be happening for another 11 months and 6 days I've started the year fresh and considered my goals.

If you refer to my previous post 'The New Year' you'll find my 5 goals for 2015. I can now say I'm on the right track for all of my goals.
I've set out a schedule (which needs slight modification) to do my homework and revision for my subjects- which combines organisation and studying (2 of my goals).
I've joined a gym, and also been walking to town to catch my bus (1 mile away) rather than going to my closest stop or getting off in town. I'm also eating a little bit better- I need to work on eating proper lunches still but I'm at least eating a proper wholesome meal at dinner time. Turns out I quite like avocados. I'm also trying to implement a more natural diet- which I will talk about in my next post.
I've started my book, well I started it on New Years day. I'm reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, however at the weekend I read A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness- I cried and loved it, such a thought provoking book. But it appears I'm on the right on track for goal 4 to read more books, which I've set a goal of 18.
My fifth and final goal is to spend more time with friends and family and I started the New Year with my grandma at my house, I joined the gym with 2 of my friends so we'll hopefully be seeing a lot of each other and I've also seen my aunt and cousins at the weekend- we watched In to The Woods, if you'd like me to review it with limited spoilers I will.

So that's my start in to January, I need to be a little bit more organised with my blog, however I've been revising over the last few weeks as this week is my mock exam week so I've been slightly pre-occupied with that. I know excuses, excuses.

But anyway, just a short, sweet update.
Thanks for reading, I appreciate it so much.

HEEEEEELP!

Hey guys!
I need your help on a couple of things.

Last night I was writing the list of 18 books I want to read and it turns out I've only got 15...So I need suggestions of some books to read and I'll check them out and see if they're my type of books or if I've read them already...So please leave comments of what you think I should read.

This is my list so far:

I NEED 3 MORE  BOOKS!
Next thing!
I was talking to a really lovely person on Twitter, who is a relatively new YouTuber her channel is here: https://www.youtube.com/user/RachelCatherineMarie
It was just a general conversation and then I mentioned that I want to start a YouTube channel making videos and very lovely of her she said I should go for it. But of course I want to know what you guys think, should I start a YouTube or should I carry on focusing on my blog before doing videos?
Let me know in the comments!

Really that is all for this post, please let me know your thoughts and opinions on both of these things.

All for now, thanks for reading.
